Time Tracker: Tool to Visualize and Explore Surgical Procedures

Time Tracker Tool

On March 12, 2013 Farm’s Director of Research and Usability, Beth Loring, presented “Time Tracker: Tool to Visualize and Explore Surgical Procedures” at the Human Factors and Ergonomics Symposium in Baltimore, Maryland. The presentation introduced a graphical tool Farm has developed called the “time tracker,” which is used to visualize and analyze procedural data after research.

The time tracker helps conduct task analyses, compare approaches and philosophies across surgeons, identify repeated steps and back-tracking, and uncover unmet needs and opportunities.
