The Growth Direct Test System is used in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and personal care industries for microbial enumeration. This new system utilizes advanced imaging technology that delivers enumeration results days sooner than other previously available methods to dramatically increase production and reduce manufacturing costs. Farm collaborated with Rapid Micro Biosystems to develop the proprietary disposable culture growth cassettes and the carriers that handle the automated loading and stacking of the onboard disposables used by the machine. Farm also worked closely with KMC Systems in the development of the fully integrated processing platform, which automates sample handling, incubation, image analysis, sample tracking and data reporting.
