On October 5, 2011, Farm’s director of research and usability, Beth Loring, will travel to Copenhagen, Denmark, to participate in a seminar titled “Use Only the Users and Create Useful Products,” sponsored by Force Technology.

The seminar will feature leading companies and experts discussing experiences with user involvement. Beth Loring will present “Usability in Medical Product Development” and discuss how user perspectives in the U.S. permeate medical device development and are required for FDA approval.

The Medical Development Group (MDG), which is celebrating its tenth anniversary, will be holding its October 2011 forum on Wednesday, October 5, 5:30p.m., at the Foley Hoag Emerging Enterprise Center in Waltham, MA.

The MDG October 2011 forum, titled “Celebrating the 10 Year Anniversary of MDG – A Retrospective on the Medical Device Industry and What Can Be Expected in the Next Ten Years,” will discuss the medical device industry’s tremendous technological, financial, and physician-patient relationship changes during the last ten years.
