Farm, in conjunction with MassMEDIC, will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM EDT. The webinar, titled, “Opinions to Outputs – Working with Qualitative Data to Inform Design,” will be presented by Farm’s Senior Human Factors Engineer, Kate MacNamee.
The webinar will educate research and product development professionals involved in ethnography and contextual inquiry. Best practices for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and synthesizing qualitative data during early-stage usability research will be addressed. Kate will discuss research methods that facilitate actionable insights and allow companies to convey information to inform designers and engineers of ways to create effective, innovative, and user-focused design solutions. The presentation will also focus on data collected in complex environments (e.g., patient homes and operating suites) and will leverage a case study involving multi-user surgical teams.
