Farm is seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our talented and dynamic product development group and play a critical role in creating the next generation of advanced medical technologies.

Work on an exciting range of products - connected health wearables, new technology therapy systems, surgical robotic systems, and more.
Engage with clients from early-stage startups and fortune 100 medical device companies.
Be the mechanical technical lead on complex projects in a fast paced, supportive, and intelligent team environment with a systems level approach to product design.
Collaborate with industrial design, user interface, human factors, electrical, software, and quality teams to create exceptional product designs.
Conceptualize, investigate, develop, innovative product architectures, mechanisms, and electro-mechanical designs through design transfer into manufacturing.
Deliver compelling presentations to clients and internal teams to communicate design approach, value, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
Drive the creation of robust design solutions using CAD, analysis software, and lab equipment, prototyping, and evaluation.
Support business development engagements through capability presentations, technical assimilation, and authoring proposals.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required)...
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
10+ years of product development experience with a mix of early stage design, full development, and new product introduction, including medical devices.
Highly collaborative attitude and developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to lead with a strong sense of drive and accountability.
Versatility to quickly ramp up on, assess, and resolve diverse product.
In-depth knowledge of various manufacturing and assembly processes and techniques (including plastic part design, metal fabrication, extrusions, plastic joining, etc.) and can lead/review the work of others.
Experience analyzing product requirements and leading a team to develop innovative feasible designs, resolving design challenges, and producing high quality deliverables.
Experience with use SolidWorks and/or Creo to resolve mechanical challenges and produce high quality CAD databases.
