This year, Flex celebrates 50 years of innovation, partnership, and pushing the limits of what’s possible.

Our company began its journey as a hopeful Silicon Valley contract manufacturing ‘start-up’ back in 1969. Today, we are a premier design-led global manufacturing corporation. We are 177,000 innovators and doers around the world, including 20,000 focused on design and engineering. We have over 45 million square feet of manufacturing and services space, operations in more than 30 countries, and annual revenues of $26 billion. You can see details of our evolution at [flex.com/about/our-origins](https://flex.com/about/our-origins).

At Flex, we have a history of bringing simplicity and efficiency to our customers’ supply chains. Our proven ability to navigate complex global markets while holding true to a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative culture sets us apart in a complex and highly competitive industry. This rich history and the opportunity to work with brilliant customers, suppliers, and employees make it even more satisfying to celebrate 50 years in business.

Our industry has transformed radically over the past five decades. However, our core values of customer focus, collaboration, transparency, and creativity have remained the same – and will continue to set us apart.

The adventures we will find in the next 50 years are still around the corner, but we know that the values and culture we have fostered over the past 50 years will make us ready for every new challenge. We will collaborate across the value chain to produce innovative solutions and consistently deliver results that you count on to bring your incredible products to market.
