Farm Welcomes Kate Benedict, Our New President of Health Solutions

Farm is excited to announce that Kate Benedict has been named President of Flex Health Solutions. Flex, the global manufacturing partner of choice, helps a diverse customer base design and build products to improve the world. Ms. Benedict is responsible for the strategy, planning, development, and execution of Flex’s Health Solutions business. She leads a global team serving customers in end-markets including medical equipment, medical devices, and drug delivery, as well as programs to expand Flex’s healthcare customer base and design-led engagements.

Ms. Benedict joined Flex in 2024 from BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), where she most recently served as vice president and general manager for the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) and Vascular Access Device (VAD) businesses. In this role, she led the global VAD business and Salt Lake City site, while concurrently developing the innovation strategy for MDS. Previously, she served as vice president and general manager of BD’s Integrated Diagnostic Solutions business, U.S. region.

Prior to BD, she worked for Alcon and Johnson & Johnson where she gained experiences in sales, marketing, product development, and finance. Throughout her 25-year career in healthcare, Ms. Benedict has developed high-performing teams that deliver transformative solutions to improve patient care, while accelerating growth and financial returns.

Ms. Benedict began her career as an auditor for KPMG where she earned a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. She holds an MBA in Marketing and International Business from Rutgers University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware.p>
