**Peritoneal Dialysis System**

 Based on their successful partnership, Baxter Healthcare asked Farm to develop their next generation automated peritoneal dialysis treatment system. The system was created specifically for the Latin American market to meet the demands of its growing population in need of dialysis treatment. Farm conducted home visits with patients and focus groups with nurses and physicians as well as worked closely with Baxter's patient advisory council to understand user preferences and product requirements. User research led to several product innovations and ultimately to intellectual property for Baxter. Innovations included an inline heating disposable, optimized user connections, and an interactive graphic interface to simplify operation. The overall visual language was driven by Latin America's cultural influence that led to the products small, portable, and approachable design.
