Dr Rebecca Grier, Principal Human Factors Engineer at Farm, a Flex company, will be giving a presentation titled, “Making Self-Driving Cars Accessible.” In this presentation Dr Grier discusses how Self-Driving Vehicles have the potential to make lives easier for people who cannot obtain a driver’s license. However, this requires that these vehicles be designed to be accessible. The benefits of considering people with disabilities in the design will be explored, including, specific considerations associated with self-driving vehicles.
